Our Sons & Daughters Are Rising

As we step into spring, we're reminded how this season quietly brings new life all around us. What once felt dormant begins to grow again, and in so many ways, we are seeing that same renewal take place right here at Braking Cycles.

A New Beginning at Fortify House

This month, we are welcoming a new young man into Fortify House. For him, this is the beginning of something entirely new: a step into safety, opportunity, and a community that will walk alongside him as he begins to rebuild his life.

Fortify is one of our housing programs designed specifically for young men ages 18–24 who are coming from a wide range of backgrounds and life circumstances. Here, they are not only given a safe place to live, but also the opportunity to develop self-sufficiency, pursue education and career paths, and begin building a future marked by stability and purpose.

A New Milestone at Harmony House

This week, one of our young women at Harmony House graduated from our one-year program. Her journey has not been simple or easy, but it has been marked by perseverance, healing, and a growing sense of independence.

Harmony House was created to serve young women ages 18–24, offering not only safe housing, but opportunities for hands-on job training, mentorship, and personal growth. Through experiences like working with rescued horses and exploring entrepreneurial pathways, these young women are given space to rediscover their identity and step forward with confidence.

Register for Sonrise, our 2026 Annual Banquet!

On June 1st, you are invited to gather with us for Sonrise, this year's theme for our 2026 Annual Banquet!

This year carries special significance as we celebrate 35 years of walking alongside vulnerable youth. It also marks a new chapter as we step forward under one unified name and mission as Braking Cycles.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As you arrive, you will also have the opportunity to experience these stories in a tangible way. Precious, a resident at Harmony House, will be showcasing pieces from her fashion design business in the lobby. What began as a place of healing has become a platform for creativity, confidence, and vision.

We deeply believe that by taking a *literal* seat at the table, you play a critical part in the story God is continuing to write through this ministry.

Your support helps create opportunity in one of our programs for the next young man to find a safe space to grow in independence or the next young woman to experience true freedom and healing. Through safe housing, mentorship, and opportunity, lives are being rebuilt every day, and your yes plays a role in that ongoing work. Will you join us?
